The Masimo MightySat Fingertip Pulse Oximeter (Bluetooth) comes with Bluetooth wireless interface to the free downloadable Masimo Personal Health app and Apple HealthKit via your smart device.

Masimo is the leading brand of hospital pulse oximeters¹ because they provide accurate measurements when other pulse oximeters fail by using a revolutionary, patented invention called Signal Extraction Technology® (SET®). Masimo SET® uses five parallel signal processing engines that measure through challenging conditions, including movement and low blood flow. With MightySat, the same high-performing Masimo SET® technology is now available for general wellness and health applications.

Product Features:

  • Uses hospital-grade Masimo SET® pulse oximetry which is technology that was shown in a study to be more accurate than 19 other pulse oximeters in healthy volunteers under motion and low perfusion conditions2
  • Provides additional parameters not available on other pulse oximeters such as Perfusion Index (Pi) – see below product description for additional details
  • Extremely easy to use with Bluetooth wireless interface to the Masimo Personal Health app and the Apple HealthKit

2 reviews for MightySat Fingertip Pulse Oximeter with Bluetooth LE

  1. 5 out of 5

Living at 7500′ altitude it’s nice to be able to occasionally monitor overnight sleep for O2 content in the blood and pulse rate. This device with the free app ( which is hard to find, and not mentioned in 4 pages of instruction) works very well .

I’ve done expensive sleep studies which were inconclusive due to the 20+ wires connected and the people snoring in the rooms on both sides, so this device will do the same thing ( if you buy the Bluetooth grade unit) at home with out any wires.

Once you set up your iPad ( needs to be plugged into electricity) and have syncronized your Bluetooth, a 12 hour period of information can be gathered and the data is very easy to email to yourself for conversion to an excl spread sheet graph.

This will sync with your iPhone and gather data on hikes or at the gym. Well made, and seems to be reliable so far, and I hope more accurate than the $20 one from CVS

  2. 5 out of 5

I’ve been very impressed with the accuracy of the MightySat pulse oximeter….but the IOS software could be more usable
